am i really at starbucks?

yes, i really am. i have about an hour to kill before i need to be at my internship and there is no time like the present to blog. i think i just heard someone order a venti caramel macchiato, non-fat, of course. this drink is very popular here. i am drinking my guilty november pleasure, a pumpkin spice latte. i promise you, that when december comes along, i will be sucking down half skim milk half egg nog lattes. its amazing what living in seattle does to you. here i am desperately trying to get away from the northwest, but i’m, sporting a timbuktu bag, drinking a starbucks latte (seasonal no less) and typing away on my mac. does it get any worse? well, yes, my mary jane’s do make my roots painfully visible to most fashionista ny’ers. it begs to question, do i do this on purpose?

so, i am in midtown pretty often, smack dab in the middle of the fashion district, bordered by the garment district. can you say close out clearance sale? all i wanna do is shop! it’s killing me! so are all these people ordering triple grande soy lattes. did I just see lyra with visible panty lines walk in? what is this? this is the fashion district for godsake!! have some respect!

oh and speaking of respect—i’m gonna try some self respect. i am cutting my hair, and i have to admit that i am a little scared- excited, but scared. i have commissioned my cousin, stylist and personal shopper to deal with my hair- isimply can’t have an unsupervised fashion intervention. hairstylist, love getting people with long hair and making them look TERRIBLE with short hair and bangs. don’t worry people, i will not be getting bangs. Its diwali and its time for change, wait till you see the new wardrobe! love those school loans.

ok, i’m off to save the world, happy diwali loves!
