midget with booty

so, today when walking to the cafe
we happened upon a midget with booty. i mean booty! this sighting is much better than roosters, rats and pigeons. i want booty! this asian guy really likes white booty. the other booty examples were too hot for my blog.
i had my first week of class and it was great, i mean really great. the profs are amazing, the content challenging and the reading too much for little anju. for the first time i am in classes where the majority of people are really really smart people. though i predict (and previewed n my friday research class), that small group projects will often mimic episodes of the apprentice. speaking of the apprentice, we went to columbus circle (home to the donald) to shop at wholefoods. what a nightmare and soooo expensive. this was not a grocery store, it was a scene. there were more people in their extensive deli, than there were in the produce section. we are never going back. it turns out that most of the organically inclined stores in nyc are home to very poor labor practices. why am i not surprised.
i love my biostats prof, Al. he is wonderful, he creates the syllabus in the typewriter, and uses chalk and the chalkboard. he is jewish, so we have ALL these days off.
i have been having trouble motiving, so any encouraging comments would be helpful. I have been knitting up a frenzy. I have already made two sets of fingerless mits. red for me and black and gray for rahul (they match the hat i knit him). i made a beautiful v-shaped shawl for my mom with hand dyed alpaca wool which ranges in color for red to purple. i guess you have figured that i found the yarn store in my town
i am working on two projects a heavy super warm poncho and a lighter weight a little lacier poncho. this pattern does not reflect my yarn choice, but the pattern is the same, though i plan to make it so that it fits little anju. i might be wearing it by the end of this week. perhaps it will motivate me.
i mean if, a midget with booty can get out there and strut her stuff in the projects of west harlem, why can't i strut my stuff in washington heights?
