hey hey ho ho vpl has got to go...
around here, fashion is key. new yorkers don't have savings accounts because they care most about their personal appreance. gucci, prada, dior, to name a few, confirm one's social status. but why, why do people buy such expensive designer clothes and simply not pay attention to the most important detail-- visable pantylines. come on people!? men and women alike commit this crime. in this eighties lycra revolution in which we live-- you would think that people would know better, especially my fellow ivy leaguers. i think i may have to start a student group.
i have discovered this new hybrid of human being, "socialites." they are like celebrities, but not, just rich, and social. these people are all over nyc!!! some argue that they are attractive, but i have only found one to be attractive roopal patel. yes, yes, she is south asian. you shoud check her out in the latest vogue, shes near the back of the mag. i wish i could afford her closet. sexy and tailored with an ethnic flair!
besides the recent discovery, travel plans to dc and seattle (YES!) things have been business as usual. i am working on building contacts, making friends, decorating, my massage practice, securing internships, knitting, you know i've been busy AND homesick. i meet withmy academic advisor tomorrow-- she is amazing. I am so excited to see her. what are you supposed to say to people who are this big? oh! so big.
oh my god, i'm going to be bing in nyc!

uh, have you checked your vpl today?
I get so upset when I hear this nonsense. Why does a stranger care about another stranger's pantyline?
"Oh no...she's wearing underwear and I can see the lines from the back"...get over it! Thankfully, even in New York...some of us have better things to do than worry about the fashion police.
yo ivyleaguer--you are just upset because you consistently violate the vpl guidelines set forth by the WHO-- and don't think that by calling yourself "ivyleaguer" that i don't know who you are... p
ho ho hey hey vpl is here to stay... well, so long as P insists on walking around in granny underwear:)
